    The House of Txakal (pronounced "Chacal") in Novia currently consists of:

    Notable Moments in the History of the House Txakal on Earth

    218 BCE After organizing a series of retaliation ambushes against Carthaginian invaders, a spear-wielding mercenary from Bizkaia is granted Roman Citizenship and establishes a successful mercenary company that lasts 700 years. He takes the name of that what the Carthaginian soldiers called him when they died, Txakal

    420 CE Caius Txakal dissolves mercenary company and leads his friends home to defend against the Goths. Fort Txakal is built.

    778 CE Cristóbal Txakal strikes down Roland in the Battle of Roncevaux Pass, reforms family mercenary company.

    786 CE After the death of her father, Diana Txakal places here brother, Aaron, in charge of the mercenary company and uses the profits to bring House Txakal into the commercial whaling business in Gipuzkoa.

    875 CE Alejandro Txakal establishes a whaling station in the Faroe Islands.

    1234 CE Jakub Txakal is commissioned by Valdemar the II, he and his mercenary army join the remnants of Erik Eriksson’s army and defeat the army of usurper Knut Holmgersson restoring Erik the VI to the throne.

    1465 CE Miguel Txakal establishes a whaling station in Newfoundland and Labrador, begins a lucrative trade relationship with the Algic.

    1521 CE Guillaume Txakal is challenged to a duel by Iñigo Loyola, leaving him with minor wounds and a bruised ego, Guillaume advises Iñigo to “find Jesus”.

    1728 CE Alejandro Txakal is one of the founding members of The Royal Guipuzcoan Company of Caracas

    1761 CE Fed up with politics in Madrid, Alejandro Txakal withdraws from The Royal Guipuzcoan Company of Caracas and accepts a lucrative privateering contract from an old friend high up in the East India Company and smuggles the goods through the free trade zone - House Txakal enters the smuggling business.

    1789 CE Torbito Txakal uses the wealth and influence of House Txakal to buy the royal commission for governorship for a small Caribbean island. Over three generations House Txakal become known as the ones who ushered in democracy and a time of prosperity to the small island of Tropico before it was invaded during the cold war and a new dictatorship was installed.

    1820 CE Third son of Torbito, Christopher Txakal, establishes Txakal Vineyards in Sonoma, California after he is unable to convince his lover, María Ignacia Alvarado, to join him on the seas. The family smuggling business is dissolved.

    1838 CE After a successful plan together, Christopher Txakal befriends José Antonio Castro and with others begin discussing a plan to get rid of some mutual enemies and bring democracy to California.

    1946 CE While overseeing a venture in New York, Benjamin Txakal develops a relationship with Anaïs Nin. It is rumored he became the inspiration for one of her characters in Delta of Venus.

    2017 CE A young and adventurous Aaron Txakal travels with an exploratory mission with fellow explorers, cartographers and treasure hunters in The Cult of Light to search for ship wrecks and lost history in the Bermuda Triangle. He is never heard from again.



    Notable Moments in the History of the House Txakal in Novia


    526 PC Waking up ship wrecked in the city of Fallin' Green. Aaron Txakal and the other survivors of the exploratory fleet bring the Cult of Light to Novia. LAMP Monastery is founded in Fallin' Green

    590 PC While investigating rumors of a demon in Xenos, Sorgin Txakal befriends Chancellor Notus, and after introducing him to Basque cooking, Sorgin Txakal is granted the title "Iron Chef Xenos" and given property to set up a restaurant and the commission to cater the Chancellor's events. It was later he learned, to his dismay, that one of the many names of the demon he is investigating is known as "The Mad Chef of Xenos".

    Work In Progress, but I feel I had enough to post so I don't just keep kicking it around in my google drive indefinitely.
