Another game question

Greetings all
I was hopping someone was playing Shroud with one of the new M 1 and Big Sur. i can now get the 14" M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 24-core GPU. Can not make the case for the M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU . Should be a very nice machine. And I can trade in my mid 2019MacBook Pro with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB for about a third of it. I Will let you know how it goes.

 

I meant 64 bit Arm, specifically. Not 64 bit Intel. M1's are Arm architecture.

I will check on my wife's M1 tonight. I doubt it though, pretty sure its running under Rosetta.

 

My wife plays on the M1 13 inch MacBook Pro and it runs pretty good, better than on my 16 inch Intel MacBook Pro 2019. She just has an odd issue where Player Characters all look like they are riding invisible mounts.

 

If that's the case then it's pretty interesting that it can run an x86_64 game better than your x86_64 PC.

 

A 1030 is a junk card, and for frame of reference it's about 450% faster than i7 integrated graphics.

Min req for shroud is a 960/560. you need a graphics card.

I am soooooooo tempted by the new MacBook Pros, but my 16" is only 2 years old. Although, I looked and they will give me $1800 trade in credit for it...
