Anyone having connection issues?

I logged in at my house fine today, then when I tried to go to the map, the problems started. Now I either can't log in or when I do, I am stuck on the overworld map. Every time I try to enter a town, recall, etc I lose connection again. The game loads up to 63% and loses connection to the server. Is this a problem with my install or is my ISP having issues or what the hell?

 

One message stated you seem to possibly have some port closed that the game requires. Is your firewall possibly blocking some port?

 

Nothing has changed since I initially logged in today without problems. the problems started once I tried going to the map. I disabled the firewall and tried logging in and get the same message just to test it though.

 

I also have the same problem whether I am logging in through steam or the stand alone version.

 

I'm having the same exact connection problem. I tried to leave a town to go to the world map and I'm DC'd at 63%. Login attempts end with firewall/port blocked mostly and when I am able to get back ingame the same 63% loading into another zone DC happens. It started more or less 2 hours ago for me. I've turned off my firewall completely as part of troubleshooting, the problem persists so it's out of my hands. I'll just wait for the unicorns to rainbow flash it and make it all better.

 

I'm back in the game now, but the hitching is horrible. I can only surmise there is an issue somewhere between my location and Portalarium. I've restarted my router (multiple times) made sure all my drivers are up-to-date, turned off the router for like an hour, turned off firewall and attempted to login, etc... It's halfass working for me right now.

 

Yup my connection issues have gone away, looks like whatever it was didn't need any adjustments on my end.

The last 2 releases I've been having issues being dc'd back to the desktop and I can't find a common link. Sometimes I'm teleporting/recalling, sometimes I'm moving from one scene to another, but other times I'm just standing still. Only twice have I had it happen when I was in the heat of battle. It is quite annoying.

 

occasionally I switch from my 5G connection to my 2G and that fixes it

 

I get d-conned almost everytime I open my map. Been happening for years.
