imho get rid of all underlines that are not necessary. They don't work anyway. The scene should just be teaching people the basics.

 

Did the old log in log out. She let me pass.

 

I have tried 5 times logging in and out deleted 3 times and started over and still cant get past arabella. same thing as the pictures above so not going to post any more of the problem. Just that it is happening.

 

You will need to re-activate Conversation Close-Ups in your options for now to get this and answering other NPC's questions to work properly until this is patched.

I am running into this as well.

Arabella presents the first line after clicking Destiny, and then line below appears:

"Your answers here will help shape where you begin. There are no wrong answers."

If you wait until that line, Arabella gives the "I'm sorry, I do not understand..."

But if you click on "Truthfully answers" before the "Your answers here.." line appears, she continues to the next question.

The amount of frustrated new players on 4th of July weekend must be exciting to think about.

I deleted my character and tried to start over. It's a good thing I found this thread or I'd be done until the patch. :/

Can you put her in a hammock and give her a stalk of grass to chew in her right hand and a book in her left? She should come across as totally unfazed by our arrival since she is hanging out on a floating rock all alone.

If this was the MIB test with Will Smith I think he'd have shot her.

Logged in with a fresh character with German language settings, ghosted in front of Arabella. Double clicking her as advised didn't give any result.
Sentences in the log (by sense):
Position of Arabella marked
Message of the day
You appear on a strange place.
Use WASD...
Doubleclick the lady in front of you...
Position of mirror marked on compass
You need to find the mirror mentioned by Arabella...
Direction East looks promising.
Mirror is now also a special location on your compass.

Close up is on.

Steam client as of today 64.441.

Correction: This character got the chat config from another account, and a filtered tab was preselected. (And Arabella did not bark the most important stuff.)

Conclusion: Each logging in account should have his own chat settings and history on the client.
