[As Designed] Salvage of Ring of Chrysopoeia, Epic (L) destroyed item

    I wanted to salvage an Ring of Chrysopoeia, Epic (L) from legacy to new version.
    Instead the ring was destroyed:
    [30.05.2021 19:01:22] Item (Ancient Essence x3) added to inventory.
    [30.05.2021 19:01:22] Item (Ring of Chrysopoeia, Epic (L)) was destroyed during crafting.
    [30.05.2021 19:01:22] Successfully salvaged an item (Ring of Chrysopoeia, Epic (L)) for Ancient Essence x3.

    Note: the uncommon version did succeed:
    [30.05.2021 18:58:37] Item (Ring of Chrysopoeia, Uncommon) added to inventory.
    [30.05.2021 18:58:37] Item (Ring of Chrysopoeia, Uncommon (L)) was destroyed during crafting.
    [30.05.2021 18:58:37] Successfully salvaged an item (Ring of Chrysopoeia, Uncommon (L)) for Ring of Chrysopoeia, Uncommon x1.

    Kindly asking to replace the epic ring

    My experience has been that all Epic (L) versions are completely salvaged. Not sure if this is intended; luckily this happened on Offline Mode in my case.

    this is as designed. the reason to salvage a legacy to get the modern version of the artifact is to combine it with others to make the next tier and there is no tier after epic, so no need to salvage an epic unless you want the essences/possible gems/jewel. the text description for epic legacy artifacts is clear:

    My (L) ring was 0/14, I tried to salvage it for a none-legacy one and getting back some durability and then the result:
