Authenticating aaaand now your 100th in queue

    So this is my 11th time in the queue trying to login through steam... Tried to land rush and now im dead in the water. keeping fingers crossed ill be able to get in now.:eek:

    Same here - lots of login issues with both STEAM and sota credentials.
    Waiting a loong while for the queue and then it fails to authenticate, then you have to go to the back of the queue again isn't fun.

    nah bud, too excited to play and if the que is resetting or not reading credentials its most likely a bug they would like to know

    Some people actually have jobs and may have taken the day off to play. I sure would be unhappy if I wasted a vacation day for this.

    Happened to me to, but i would do other stuff :)
    But thats me ^^

    Golden Rule Never play on patch day :)

    By the way if people would more relax and not constantly try to login, the server would than be up and running in no time :)
    On the other hand great stress tests for the servers ^^

    That only works if there isn't a limited amount of what are perceived as premium lots to place houses on.

    I've never had a problem logging in on patch day. I don't use steam however. I'm patching now, will update if I have any issues.

    When I logged in, I was 140th in queue. It took about 3 minutes for me to log in from there. Not much of a wait once one is in the queue.

    We're getting this workedout this morning. I think Starr posted about it but because it is a wipe, everyone is going and "melting down" stuff in the store which is hammering the database and slowing down logins. Should be mostly cleared up now and we'll be improving that system.

    I'm not sure I would take off work on day one of anything.

    As far as STEAM is concerned, I'm kinda glad I didn't link my account to that. I would hate to be hogtied into someone else's digital distribution scheme and I appreciate Portalarium offering a P2P download option.
