Avatar gets stuck in walk cycle

    Title: Avatar gets stuck in walk cycle.
    Reproduction Rate: ?
    Blocker? No.
    Details: Sometimes, when I stop moving, my avatar continues the walk cycle. This will continue indefinitely until I nudge a movement key. This is more than just cosmetic as the fizzle chance is increased because the client thinks that I'm moving. This is a really old issue and it needs to be fixed (it was reported many times long ago but I think that most people have sadly just given up on it).
    Steps to Reproduce: Move and stop. At some point, your avatar will continue the walk cycle.

    OS: Linux 5.0 Ubuntu 19.04 64bit
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor (8) System RAM: 32160
    GPU: GeForce GTX 1070/PCIe/SSE2 GPU RAM: 8192
    SotA.Linux.64.1041.Date.09.13.19
    Area: Novia_R9_Forest02_01
    Area Display Name: East Sanctus Forest
    Loc: (88.8, 33.5, 172.3)

    Note that this is not specific to the Linux client as I see other avatars getting stuck in their walk cycle.

    This has got to be the longest running bug we have. Never realized the fizzle chance connection. Good catch.

    Nope, the oldest bug is on the Linux client, if you use the right mouse button for mouselook (cursor mode) then the cursor will popup whenever a UI window appears or disappears (including the combat bar). This bug has existed since they introduced reticle mode; long before persistence.
