Basic suggestions for the improvement of this awesome game :)

    I began playing this a few days ago, and have found unbelievable amounts of fun in the game so far. However, every soon to be gem has some scratches.

    -Augmented plate armor (I bought from a vendor for 1,000 gold) Is WAY too powerful. As of now I am level 22, and with this armor I RARELY take damage. Standing in the middle of 10 skeletons and slowly auto attacking them to death is my daily XP grind. Yet with the leather armor I had before, I died in 3 hits. Major balance is needed.

    -Animations need a lot of work, auto attack animation has no variation. Although not a big problem with the game, it does get boring seeing my character slowly killing enemies with right to left swings.

    -The environments are beautiful, the monsters however, are not. The entire time I played I was fighting Skeletons, Wolves, and the occasional Kobold or Lizard man. More variation in monsters is needed.

    What the team is doing is awesome, and I hope it does awesome when it is fully released, so I hope at least one of you fine devs see this and take it to heart :)

    Let me be the first to congratulate you for joining :D

    You are right in all aspects I guess, and I answer with my standard answer: This is Pre-Alpha.
    All the tweaking fine tuning and balancing are not yet dona. At the moment SotA is like a five year old child - trying out all the awesome stuff.

    It improved a lot since its beginning, and will surely continue to do so. PLEASE do continue to share your thoughts and post all bugs you find, as this is exactly what the game ( and we) need.

    Enjoy the marvellous views, slay all those horrible foes, an read the forums - I never encountered a community that helpful and mature in all my gaming experience until SotA :D

    edit - darn, bested by Tahru again -.-

    Welcome! I think you should watch some of the Developer Hangouts from way back where they talk about the chess types of creatures. Every creature has a subset and a superset. I believe we will have many many creatures at launch. Some of the drawings and concept art should give you some idea.

    R14 is adding some new monsters and it looks like R15 is as well.

    I found out some information, to tip a cow, one must use stealth to sneak up to it first, then you need at least two individuals to successfully tip.

    "Cows do not in fact slumber soundly on their pins, but rather doze, Boechler said.
