The fish would probably be easier to generate with machine-readable language. Which charge to do you prefer, if both of them are deemed acceptable?

    (I'm not with the College.)

No, but we'd love for you to be, if you want to!

As for the statement that these are your family arms, I'm afraid that most heraldic traditions don't have family arms. If you're interested in further explanation, there will be a topic showing up here shortly in which Amber and several of her cohorts are planning on expounding on this and several other educational topics about heraldry.

Your escutecheon would read something simple, like:

Azure, three fishes argent in pale

You can produce the blazon with the College's manual blazon builder using this string. You'd replace the word "goutte" with the name of your charge.

(azure pale azure (goutte argent goutte argent goutte argent))

And would appear more like so (with a slightly lighter shade of blue):

It's a lovely and distinctive design!

We will definitely have "a" fish charge in the generator, though probably not these specific ones.

If it's a civic arms for within SotA Ronan was referring to, that is a problem. If it is a real-world one, we agreed that we would only worry about "well known" arms, such as those of royalty or countries. (Though it does make me question how to handle it when it is actively pointed out. We agreed not to go hunting, but what happens when we are informed? Will add this to our Hangout agenda.)

And no, a different kind of fish would not be considered a sufficient change for us. from the rules, under what is not considered a point of difference: a change between most animals without a change in attitude; - meaning not only is type of fish not sufficient, three other long, thin creatures arranged the same way would also not work (ie, three white ermines, etc.)

Slight correction on the blazon there, if I may. Azure in pale three fishes argent. (There's not enough sable to mention it in the blazon -- it's a highlight colour at this point -- and the postures of the lucies themselves are implied by the in pale arrangement, as vertical ones wouldn't be visible individually when arranged thusly, meaning that the default posture would become what you see here.)

Oh, thanks for the feedback. Learning more each day. :) I remember now palewise would regard the orientation of the charges, describing them as oriented vertically. What are lucies if you don't mind my asking? I can't seem to find any information on the term.

As in the fish, not the weapon.

No Beli, the 3 fish are fine!
We do not have a town in SotA that is using anything similar, and the town in the real world is not "well known", and your fish are different from that one anyway.
