Blacksmithing Salvage Problem

    If I understand the Salvage recipe it requires the smithing hammer and 39 items to salvage. The blacksmith table will only hold 15 items. I get an error message when I try to put more items on the table.

    it requires one item. you happen to have 39 in your inventory. you can put up to 15 at a time.
