Blood River Massacre Still Missing the Massacre

@Sannio, remember this? I thought it was fixed, but since I didn't comment in that thread after asking if it was on QA yet, I guess I never had the time to test it. I've been thinking it was fixed all this time, and since sending newbies there recently, was finally motivated to bring my main adventurer through. Been anticipating it for a week, waiting till I had the time to play and the energy to appreciate a new scene, finally sat down with excitement today -- and nothing. Still stuck in BloodRiver_After, with a character who has never been to any version of Blood River before. And worse, it IS my main adventurer now, the one I was saying before I didn't want to risk testing with. :-(

But to complicate the issue -- the newbie I sent there actually DID end up in the correct (Massacre) version of the scene, that was what motivated me to come back and try it again! I've no idea why his character and mine would enter separate versions.

Steps to Reproduce: Take anyone to Blood River who hasn't been there before, end up in the permanent version of the scene instead of Blood River Massacre.

EDIT: Found one answer! The newbie entered via the overworld, and since ending up in the aftermath again had made me log out in dismay, I logged back in using the "arrive on overworld" option. THIS time, it finally sent me to the Massacre. Looks like whatever fix you made back in the summer affected only entry via the overworld, not entry via the rift.

 

Thank you! Now that I've finally been able to get into it, I can say the scene is definitely worth visiting, in its own right, not just to pick up the dagger. So I'm glad everyone will be able to see it again, regardless of how they get there. I'm sorry the first character I sent through missed her opportunity, but she's not an adventurer and would have been horribly upset by it anyway. (And too squeamish to loot the very very many corpses... wow, that's a lot of corpses. A LOT of corpses.)
