Braids on Male Characters

    I was a bit surprised to see the braids on female characters starting halfway up the head. It is very, very rare for women to wear braids in this fashion, although they might have at one time historically. [My own hair irl is so thick that I have braided my hair in the past - wearing braids like they show them is pretty much a quick way to a headache!] And Pippi Longstocking we are not!

    But then, I thought - surely they didn't also do the braids that way on guys. Guys have never worn their hair like that, not even historically that I have ever seen in any historical images. But sure enough, that is how you have them now:

    Please research a little more and change? [You guys need to have a female check out these things, lol!]

    ugh. Don't care for the look. Not right on a guy at all. Won't get it for any of my girls either.

    Now if my braids/pigtails are causing crashes and these new ones fix that then I can live with them. :)

    I agree with the practicality aspect. As someone with extremely fine hair, this hairstyle would never work.

    Might not mind braids if they were say Dutch or French Braids done up in an attractive way maybe?
