I have visited it a couple of times in the last two days. It blends nicely in the landscape of the town. It would be great if it persisted loaded instead of becoming empty space until you get near it, because it really deserves being seen from 'downtown' and from the balloon.

The same goes for the crafting garden alas. Until the devs optimize the rendering, we'll have magically appearing/disappearing constructs. Glad you liked it :)

I agree. The thing is that normally walls are used to delimit the boundaries of a lot. The contents (chests, furniture, etc.) are maybe less important to be displayed. If you see a lot from the distance, when there are walls, you know there is something there, just like houses. You can save the contents to be loaded on proximity. But definitely walls should remain.
Hope that optimization gives us that at least! :)

If your rig can take it you can force the rendering in the video options.

    Found it: "Aggressive Decoration Loading".
I didn't know what was that for. Thank you!

It is not. Breaker's Landing is a bit more backwater than that anyway. ;)

Alas no, it would be great if we had the ability to build something graceful out of the current building blocks but the most one can do is to make it not look awkward. None of the current castles have the same style either.

Ok I"m back and will have to fight my way through that damn valley back to our town. Ended up with the way of the sword once again and will just have to pickup bow & polearm skills later alas.

I just need to know your lot placement time and where you'd like your lot. I have a layout done for the town on sotamap.com. So anywhere on the map, that isn't already labeled, is yours.

I was happy to find out that there's a ship in Brittany (just a short distance awa from Breaker's Landing) that took me directly to Kingsport. It's good to be back in the Hidden Vale - familiar ground. I do wonder though how long Owl's Head will retain it's prominence due to it being the first NPC town that was fully fleshed out.

Brittany looks way bigger and more complex and it looks like the economic and activity center will shift to the surrounding region before long.

I was very surprised to see how the layout of BL has changed. It reminds me now of some hidden mountain village - which I very much like. Had a hell of a time finding the town crier though I understand his relocation will be made possible soon by R35. Poor guy must be wondering what unforgivable sin he comitted to be exiled to the far side of the lake :)

It's been a long wait, for sure. Would still love to have our mountain village on a lake. Maybe one day.

@Solstar, your placement of the balloon was brilliant. It clearly marks where the town crier & banker is which is a very great help until the placement fix comes along in R35 .

View from the town's edge across the lake. Solstar's mansion on the left and the balloon on the right . Yup, that's how far the town crier is now from the town center. Crazy.

That dark scary house I"m looking at below is not a morgue :) This is the beginning of the public library of Breaker's Landing. To it's right is the beautiful elven house in a hill which is the first residence you see the minute you enter the town. More shots to come as I (slowly) assemble the needed furniture, bookshelves, chairs and of course books.

Solstar I think I need a streetlight - and would you know where I can get my hands on a sign ?

    Sure @Berek :)

First thing on my list of things to do in Central Brittany is to hunt down @Womby 's bookstore and start assembling a personal collection. Once the BL library looks semi-decent I"ll drop you a line.

Both lamps and signs are craftable sir. However, I may pick up another ornate wooden street lamp pack to keep the deco the same, since our light limit is 20.
