    Ok, cool.

Then here's something else that will get you even more excited... Edelmann Beer produces the same 40 units of beer for the 200g/160g sales price... but it only uses 18 Barley and 6 Hops (total of 24 instead of 25 like all the other beer recipes). So, Edelmann Beer should give you a slightly higher profit margin if you just make those.

    You're welcome! ;)

Wait for the weekend, mmm XP.
The only downside to not being lame and taking pride in setting up the decorations is aligning the barrels, doing it every few days would drive me nuts, seriously decorations that snap together would be great. Just doing this small setup was bad for RSI.

Yeah snap points would be the icing. I've gotten good at lining them up, but it still takes about 10-20 secs to get it "perfect", and i know you know what i mean, when the bottom legs and top legs line up and look like a single piece of wood.... mmm sogud

The main bonus I see is the ease of watering barley/wheat/hops instead of cotton, I always prefer water things without a hit box and easily see the watered indicator.

I think you forgot to add the two days of growing the crop + 3 days brewing. So profit will be on the 5th day. I’m not sure that would beat out cotton over the 30 days period.

    Thought?

Assume you would replant your crop while brewing, so 2 days crop -> 3 days brew, would have another crop ready to brew before the first brew was done everytime. Limiting factor is still the 3 days brewing.

Cotton depends on having regular buyers come through, which may or may not happen. ;)

NPC merchants are always dependable though slightly less profitable.

It’s still 5 days with cost accounting math in one cycle. The other 2 days for replanting the crops cost gold to buy the seeds as well. It’s an interesting comparison that I’ll experiment for sure.

Right, the life cycle of a cask from seed to profit is 4 days using green house. 1-day for crops, harvest and pack same day, then three days mature. However as mentioned above, you would keep planting daily and have a triple set of casks rotating. Doing it that way you are getting daily profits and it will beat the ever loving snot out of cotton farming.

The life of a SotA brewmaster would go something like:

    Tap current round of kegs
    Sell beer/buy seeds, water, yeast
    Harvest/replant
Pack and place casks (probably the most time consuming task)

Go about your day, dont forget to water. All in all, maybe like 30 min of daily effort for a massive daily semi-passive income.

It'd be interesting if you hit the lot container limits if not maturing within an inventory (maybe they'll fix that).

I'm going to recheck next time I log in as I thought it adjusted the container limit.

hmmm actually might have just found a minor bug... Looks like the deco limit doesn't track when you remove a cask from your lot until you reload the scene, but yes it's def counting under deco.

Cotton reliably sells to a vendor for 4g/ea, i based all these numbers off vendor profits.

Would love to see the costs and material costs on a spreadsheet. How many plants are you growing at a time?

i'm still a relatively new player, so i'm kinda constrained by property, right now i'm working out of a greenhouse row on a village lot, i can do 70 plants in a day just in the house. I'm working towards a 2nd village lot so i can plop down the big boy greenhouse. With the creative stacking techniques i've seen around the map, i think i could fill a pretty decent amount of casks daily.

Lot of the upscale part of this is hypothetical but the math isn't that easy to screw up and it upscales pretty linearly.
