Broken captcha?

Oh well, I just wanted to create a new account (to try stuff heh) - but the webpage https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/wp-login.php?action=register gives me a broken captcha (the graphic isn't loading).
* I did a quick search on the forums, but didn't find this bug.
* It's definetly a blocker because it prevents people from even signing up
* I used Firefox, Chrome, Edge and IE on Windows10 (w/ latest updates for both OS and browsers of course) - got the same "broken captcha"

 

seems the pic in the captcha link is damaged and can not be shown by the browser (https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/captcha_tmp/captchaoftheavatar300306655.png)

 

Reloading does not help either, looks like every *.png is damaged, e.g. https://www.shroudoftheavatahttps://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/captcha_tmp/captchaoftheavatar1672159174.png - I'm just glad I'm not the only one getting this problem

 

I cannot get it to work on Chrome, Edge or Firefox. I have friends who are trying to sign up and cannot.
