[By Design] Bank doesn't automatically open unless "Skip conversations with Merchants" is open

    Details: The bank window doesn't open automatically unless you have "Skip conversations with merchants" selected. Otherwise you have to manually push "Bank" on the conversation keywords.
    Steps to Reproduce: Turn of "Skip conversations with merchants. Talk to a banker.

    This change is by design. Multiple unrelated windows (bank and NPC conversation) opening at the same time is a poor user experience. Only one of these should be open at one time since you can only meaningfully use one of these at a time. The new behavior is such that the NPC conversation window closes when the bank window opens. The same behavior applies to other similar types of NPCs, such as merchants and trainers.

    I know that this may feel weird at first since it has worked differently for so long, but we believe that this change is an improvement to interactions with NPCs, especially from a New User Experience perspective.

    That said, we are implementing a keyboard modifier that can be used to skip conversations with these types of NPCs. Holding the Alt key while you double-click an NPC will skip conversation with that NPC. This way, you can choose which window to open - either chat or bank (or merchant, vendor, etc) - based on whether you are holding the Alt key. Additionally, there will be a new rebindable hotkey named "Interact (No Chat)" that can be used to interact with NPCs and has the same effect of skipping conversation with the NPC. This new hotkey will default to Left Alt + E. All of this has already been implemented internally, so it should be available in an upcoming patch.
