Cannot mount letters on fence walls, stone crypt, etc.

I cannot mount the brass (runic) letters on other types of walls, like the fence walls, stone crypt, etc.

Normally I'd expect to be able to hang letters (and other items, incl. but not limited to wall lights) on fence walls, stone crypts, greenhouses, etc....

 

Hanging signs, mounted trophies, wall shelves, paintings, Christmas garlands, etc etc

The walls / hedges do not have the same functionality as a wall in one of the premade homes.


I use an outdoor lot rather than one of the prebuilt homes and you cannot use a lot of the deco.

I don't think that there's such a thing as "indoor only".

 

Then try to hang a picture outside.
Deco is even in the Shop separated as in- and outdoor deco.
Sure it's more about outdoor deco cannot placed indoor, but there are also things that cannot be placed outdoor iirc.
Not sure about picture atm, but try it.
Mounted trophy 's maybe also not for outdoor use.

When I read your post, I tried to put a picture on the outside of my house. It's no longer possible but, as I said, it used to be.

 

Can the Runes be placed on the floor inside / outside?

 

Good question but I don't know.

[edit] Numbers won't go on the floor, so I imagine runes cannot either.

 

The runes work fine on the (inside and) outside walls of houses... PERIOD
Not on the bulletin boards, fence walls, crypts, greenhouses, etc.

 

Well, I guess we are all just required to color within the lines. We can turn our lots into junk yards but not in very creative ways.
