Can't Continue Courage Quest

Last August, I met Gawain in Highvale, he gave me his Amulet, and died. I gave the Amulet to Brigid as instructed and she thanked me. I have a record of it in my Journal.

Now, however, the Path of Courage is requiring me to give her the Amulet all over again, but I obviously cannot. I've tried talking with her, but unless I hand her that Amulet (again), she wants no part of what I'm telling her. How do I proceed with the Quest? Is there a "do over" I can try that will allow Brigid to give me her Amulet and send me on my way?

 

I have the same issue, gave Brigid the amulet, she kept it and gave nothing back. Quest log still says to give her the amulet and I'm no longer able to get Battle for Highvale to show as the zone to enter to try and get another amulet from Gawain. This part of the Path quest is now stuck for me.
