Details: The design you can buy from house deed npcs(like brittany estates one) named Old Keep doesnt let you place paintings on the wall of the FIRST(ground) floor and postbox outside. You can place things like weapons though on the wall which is weird - also it lets mosaic of the avatar. You can only place paintings on the second floor. To be sure its not the spot the problem we tried 3 different spots and finally we tried a similar design(knights keep with corner turret) which was working perfectly so I am 100% sure its the house design.
Steps to Reproduce: Claim a village lot, place the house, take some paintings with you and place them
