Can't use stealth with Shield of Air

    Title: Can't use stealth with Shield of Air
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No.
    Details: If I try to use a stealth skill (Camouflage or Silent Movement) with Shield of air active then I'm immediately revealed.
    Steps to Reproduce: See "Details".
    User Specs:
    OS: Linux 5.3 64bit
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor (8) System RAM: 32110
    GPU: Radeon RX 590 Series (POLARIS10, DRM 3.33.0, 5.3.16-300.fc31.x86_64, LLVM 9.0.0) GPU RAM: 7941

    I suspect this is intentional because shield of Air (in fact all shield spells) has a visible effect. It may also be a game balance thing.

    So does Air's Embrace but I can stealth using that. If it's intended then it's pretty arbitrary.

    I can stealth with Shield of Crystal and Shield of Ice, just not Shield of Air.

    i suspect it's the focus transfer. it's being perceived as either taking damage or using a skill, just having it active. this is probably wrong: there are things you can do that use focus that do not break stealth (jump, double tap w to run).

    It's always been that way, I assumed it's just like the light spell, the little lightning charges all around the shield make it impossible to hide.

    Now that I think about it, if you're using Shield of Air then you won't take damage (until you run out of focus), so getting hit wouldn't un-stealth you.

    Indeed that is the reason why Chris made the change to shield of air around 1 years ago making you unable to stealth while using it.
    It is not a bug,it is by design, but i don't rember the release where they changed it, was lot of times ago.

    That doesn't really make sense to me considering that you lose stealth when mobs agro anyway. If it's a problem in PvP, focus transfer should break stealth instead of stealth just not being an option.
