Cap for Sieges removed explained it was a mistake, a fix for somthign else should not have hit siege

    Stop derailing a thread with the blood Bay issue, the point here is a massive change, it was not discussed just s die note in instructions I did not even know about it till a separate post I saw today and am inscensed.

    Notice a lot here are just calling me out as expected.

    BUT

    also a lot here are also on my side and want to know WTF.

    The issue is a skill cap , nothing else stay focused.

    Imagine a pipe burst and the house is flooding - you need a quick fix, you're going to shove a towel or two up there until you can get a plumber. No need to freak out and quit.

    Never said I would quit game just was gonig to stop here,

    But in the end if implemented I will not have to quit, as I am pretty sure it wil kill the game, other than player coming in running a quest line and realizing what is here and walking away.


    pretty sure most early backers that are left here will have a 75% give up now also.

    Hense why the explanation is needed.

    It I quit simple I have harped over and over about Playing the game NOT gaming the play.

    I myself have recently learned I can accomplish some of the Cabalist on my own 1 at a time, if possible.

    It take me a while and I have to use the skillz I have trained.

    My pet is critical and now all the training I have with skillz over 100 are just negated W H Y.

    Why are you even talking about this?
    First you're bringing up patch notes about sieges being hard capped for the time being, and now this temporary workaround is going to kill the game? I don't think so.

    But at least we know you'll be here till the bitter end.

    I am talking from a position of WHY, and yeah if the why is not substantiate then it should not ever happen.

    How is this a temp work around, explain?

    See I have been here and I read all over and not once have I seen this as an issue????

    In the end ideas like this WILL kill this game.

    its a temp workaround, afaik, because for the time being (hence temporary) they had to adjust this hard cap because the game used to have different functionality in regards to public/private scenes - a big patch changed this and apparently it affected sieges in a negative, unforseen way - so Its being set as a hard cap (from what I gather) so higher level players don't just steamroll the resources therein, leaving low-mid players in the dust...

    But I could be wrong, all I know about it is based on glimpsing through this thread, but yeah - thats what I gather ;)

    Ok see again the word resources. It was not aobut resources it was about Game play and player where doing sieges and had them "Hijacked"

    The solution is simple allow SPO and FO, and that is done.

    WHERE IN THE WORLD DOES ANY HARD CAP FIX A N Y T H I N G?

    Ok - so you're feeling discouraged because your siege-farming is being interrupted, but this hardly ruins the entire game, if anything it might motivate you to find somewhere else to explore and play... I can understand how it might feel like your game is being hijacked, especially if you've worked so hard at being capable to do it solo, but for now - until a better strategy is implemented, they're doing this for the greater good, even if it grinds your gears.

    It helps level the field for PvP. For PvE, it's just a nerf.

    I do not Farm sieges and this has nothing to do with it.

    BTW the fix is in SPO and FO

    If you think this is the issues.
    The game is nothing but catering to these "high level players"


    Then perhaps should have done something about it LONG ago when it was brought up that this could become a problem with High level player just rolling thru EVERYTHING.

    If sieges are so problematic then they should just remove them and put their development efforts into better things. Introducing a contrivance that explicitly nerfs players isn't good for the perception of this game.

    Then what's the point of spending time in this game, working your avatar to a high level?
