Chat Log UI too Wide?

    Hi, I'm having a problem on both my Mac and PC with the chat log being too wide. It overlaps the action bar so that I can't see the first two skills.

    I've only just bought the game. Am I being obtuse about how to resize the chat log in the bottom left?

    And while I have you, do I understand this right that on July 28th we will have the final character wipe ever, so that anything I start gathering and gold I earn will not disappear in August or September?

    Thank you for any help anyone can give me.

    The chat window you just resize by grabbing border nothing special to it as far as i can remember, cant play sota on this machine so don't have it installed and can't verify.

    Final wipe is the last wipe of characters gold everything, so after the 28th start hoarding :)

    Hettar, thanks, just your confirmation that it is possible to resize the chat log made me look again. I was trying to resize it by grabbing it on the right hand side and dragging left. I guess the scroll bar gets in the way of that functionality. After your info, I discovered I can move the chat log, resize the width from the left, then move the chat log back into place. Relief! It was so annoying to have it overlapping the action bar.

    I am trying to learn some of the ropes of how to play before the 28th hits. It's my hope to attempt to earn enough gold to purchase a lot in August when the lots are opened up to the public. I don't have enough real life money to afford a package with a plot of land!

    Sometimes you can;'t grab the right hand border. In that case grab the bottom right hand corner. That usually works for me.

    Welcome @Rothana
    I do nto think anyone mentioned it, you can resize font by clicking on the wheel thingy in chat tab, allowing you to rename the tab and filter out which kind of messages you want to get.
