Cloak Enchantment and Tailoring Masterwork with different digits ... confusing

    Details/Steps to Reproduce:

    I took 2 Common Cloaks, Durability 100.

    The FIRST started with Armor Enchantment:
    0 --> +1
    Choosing +2,6 Dex --> Durability 90
    +1 --> +2
    Choosing +2,7 Str --> Durability 80

    After that I used Tailoring Masterwork:
    +2 --> +4
    Choosing +21,4% Damage Resistance --> Durability 65
    +4 --> +6
    Choosing +2,9 Damage Avoidance --> Durability 55

    --> First enchantment was WITHOUT Ring of Chrysopoeia!


    The SECOND started with Tailoring Masterwork:
    0 --> +2
    Choosing +21,4% Damage Resistance --> Durability 85
    2 --> +5
    Choosing +4,4% Attack Speed --> Durability 75
    I wondered about the +5?

    After that I used Armor Enchantment:
    +5 --> +6
    Choosing +2,6 Dexterity --> Durability 65
    +6 --> +7
    Choosing +2,7 Intelligence --> Durability 55


    For better understanding:
    1. What's the reason to receive a +6 and a +7, even I did the same procedure using the same amount of Gold/Silver?

    2. Why is masterwork raising 2 points??? Months before it was only +1 each successful try and we knew: +1 is exceptional, after that it counted up +1.
    What are those digits telling? It's difficult to compare items since it changed ...

    I thought that the + number was based on the rarity or better things it applied, I could be wrong but that is what I was seeing.

    I want to give a few more examples, what I am talking about:

    Before changes, i
    f an item was crafted exceptional, it got +50 Durability, and it was named +1
    Cotton Epic Cloth Boots +1
    Augmented Leather Boots +1

    NOW if it is crafted exceptional, it looks that way:
    Cotton Epic Cloth
    Boots / Chest Armor +2
    BUT
    Gloves / Helm / Leggings +3
    -> Why shoud the Boots be better than Leggings?

    Cotton Augmented Cloth
    Boots / Gloves +3
    BUT
    Cloth Chest Armor / Leggings +4
    AND

    Cloth Helm +2

    -> Why shoud the Boots be better than Helm?

    Cotton Fortified Cloth
    Boots / Gloves +3

    BUT

    Chest Armor / Leggings / Helm(!) +4

    -> Why is the Helm on same lvl as Chest Armor and Leggings?


    And another example for Leather Armor (ALL exceptional, means Durability +50!):
    Augmented Leather
    Boots / Chest Armor / Gloves / Helm +3
    BUT
    Leather Leggings +4
    -> Why shoud the Leggings be better than Chest in this case?

    Epic Leather
    Chest Armor +4
    BUT
    Chest Quarter-Armor / Gloves / Helm / Boots / Leggings +3
    -> Here there is no difference between Leggings and Helm?

    Leather
    Chest Armor +4
    Leggings / Gloves +3
    Boots / Helm +2

    Fortified Leather
    Boots / Helm +4

    Supple Fortified Leather
    Boots +4



    --> (Supple) Fortified Leather Boots are same level as Augmented Leather Leggings?

    That's what I am talking about. The digits are confusing.

    Before it was more clear:
    Standard durability (0)
    Exceptional: +1

    And each higher value was a sign for a significant better item.
    Now it isn't ...

    The material bonuses also factor into the number of pluses. If something takes more materials then it will have more pluses.

    I just don't understand the sense of this system?
    Using Master Crafting adds +2, using Enchantment it adds +1.

    If someone is searching for good armor, (s)he is not interested in quantity, but in quality of an item.

    The ++ were a good indicator to compare items before, but the way it is now, it seems more complicated. If you don't consider the +2/+1, an item could look less worth, if someone uses more enchanting instead of Master crafting ...


    The Augmented Leather Chest Armor wouldn't be a good choice, if I would assume the + information is a kind of quality indicator ...

    Yeah, I never really care about the pluses anyway, just the actual bonuses.
