    Silver Ferrets:
    1. Auto Detect When Owner approaches Herbs, wild fruit & berries, grasses, mosses, etc. … with-in a detection radius the Ferret walks over to Herbs, wild fruit & berries, grasses, mosses, etc. and jumps in the air
    2. Auto Warning When enemies enter the sensory radius of the ferret it rounds around in circles

    Edit -

    A traveler needs a friendly companion to warn him/her of unfriendlies in the area :) ... if I could have two and name them Kodo and Podo it would be perfect :p

    I hope they do bring in a pet battle system. Gives the tamers another avenue for income

    Or maybe cockfights/dogfights... Though I would love to see chest mimic fighting barrel mimic... Hmm.

    They call them Vanduuls now:)

    Just a random idea.

    Could make it so pets share the points you get if bonded in some permanent fashion. If unbonded then they will have their own static stats and skills. Bonded allows you to focus their training and unlocks skills that wild pets won't get.
