Community Wellness with the Meretz Fitness App

I picked up an inexpensive Android smart phone that I can use on WiFi (Google Voice).
I have also tried on my Kindle Fire and my Nook Color.

 

It probably won't work on the Kindle or nook, as they do not have accelerometers to track motion. Not sure on the Android (let me know the type) but most do. Make sure you download Google Fit from the Play Store, and the Meretz app (not just the website version) and then connect to it in Meretz.

 

Tried to do all that, not going to worry about it.
Better things to use my time for.

Just realize there's exercise emotes. Gotta collect them all!

 

I just downloaded the app and connected it to my Fitbit and SotA account. Can't wait to try this out!!

Great! So I joined the tribe, but what's next? Does it show anything special about the tribe in the app? All I can see is Shroud of the Avatar info in the tribe section after I joined and that's all.

 

Tribe stuff is coming in a future update, but for now we can at least be in the lead for when it's ready. Hopefully @ahtraddis is ready to show us something soon.

 

@ahtraddis maybe you can help me out. Every month I purchase tickets for sweepstakes. I have yet to find a place to see the winners.

Fun app with great ways to help people motivate themselves. But if the sweepstakes are hidden I’m not sure I am interested.

I mean, there’s not even a notification that my tickets didn’t win. Maybe I have uncollected prizes and don’t know it.

 

The only place I've seen winners announced is on Twitter (twitter.com/MeretzApp).

However, if you click on the menu button in the app and select Sweepstakes, it shows you all of the sweeps and you can see details for each, including how many entries you have. It would be nice if there was a "Winner" section added to each of those, even if it just said "Congratulations, Soandso of Sunnydale, CA, who won this sweepstakes on 6/30/18."

 

Thanks for this friend! I have always wondered how one finds out, I just always assumed it was via email since not everyone has a Twitter account.

 

That was the reply you gave me a few months ago when I asked the same question.

I still have not seen any winner announcements.

Am I the only one that likes seeing the winners list?

 

On July 2, "Congrats to Jessica H., our winner of our prize pack for June from @DXRacer and @MeretzApp"

On June 26, "Congrats Tyler Armstrong (of Brooks, CA), Grand Prize Winner May GT Swag Sweeps"

On June 21, "Congrats Neil Graham (of North Yorkshire, England), Winner of a SotA Con t-shirt"

So the delay is anywhere from a week to a month before winners are announced. I don't care about seeing a single list, but it would be nice to look up the results of a given sweepstakes.
