Compromise: When you GM, better notification but no giant explosion

After much sparring here and in game we seem to have reached some agreement.

Notifications would be good, I think @Mac2 came around to that, but @Adam Crow (and others) doesn't like the lightning bolt as it has no basis in lore and will mess with immersion.

Fair enough, no lore shattering explosions but some personal, unmissable dopamine inducing annoucement. Good compromise.

 

Make GM actually mean something, then players keep an eye on it. No need for explosions and lightings, just change it so, that players are looking out for it, waiting for it.
99.9 and 100 has no differences. Give GM a flat bonus ( 10-20% ) on skill. Make it something to aim for.

 

Honestly, I'm less concerned about GM's but I AM interested in when my Adventurer or Producer level goes up. GM's become old, AL is always nice when it goes up, especially at higher levels.

But hey, maybe that's just me

 

I like the little pulse of yellow light, its sort of cool, but low key. I usually always notice when a member of my party levels. Perhaps change the yellow light to Red when you hit GM, anything more isn't necessary.

 

"GM Ceremonies" could be a Civil activity in a local province. interesting RP potential.
