As I'm sure you are aware, unlike all the other skill trees, the Cooking skill tree contains only one skill. Could we get skills for it similar to the recently added refinement skills for batching, swift, and efficient? Or at least make it progress a bit less slowly?

It needs batching and speed at a minimum. But honestly the entire refining skill idea needs to be greatly expanded on for all crafting refined items, not just a small tiny percent of them.

yes, Cooking desperately needs some expansion. It's a challenge to focus on selling food when everyone can easily level up in it and cook their own.

As it's a production skill I wouldn't want to see it mirror refining skill trees.. although there is a case to be made for batch cooking.. but swift and efficient skills don't make much sense. No amount of skill reduces cooking time.. (though a better oven might)

I would rather see cooking dividing up into types of cooking.. baking, broiling, BBQ etc.. though it doesn't look like the game design is going to allow for that level of complexity in any skill. :(

I'd like to see exceptional crafts add to the regen and stat boosts.

Absolutely. Just like with enchanting - I'd like to be able to add certain random bonuses to exceptional foods... maybe an extra boost to dexterity for wolf surprise, etc.

I wish they would lower some requirement because of the change to proficiency, Use to be able to make dragon stew 95% chance with cooking ring and cooking blessing, now its 77% chance because of that change.
