Copy & pasting book content to another book/paper.

I attended the Bingo in Wizards Rest and we used pre published books as the cards and a blank sheet of paper to record our matching numbers. I copied the contents of one to the other so that I could place a period next to the matching ones rather than just noting them in a list as this would be easier to keep track row, column and diagonal lines.

When copying content the underlying formatting is copied as text (I assume for using outside of the game) and carriage returns are lost, would it be possible to apply carriage returns to the clipboard so lines are preserved when pasting and set the underlying formatting along with removing said formatting from the actual text when pasting into a blank book/paper in game?
