Corruption Junction Question

I've searched all over Blood River Outskirts, and for the life of me I can't find this mushroom king (Boletusporus Regem) I'm supposed to fight. There are no clues in my Journal or anywhere else I can find. I've fought Naturamans (a lot!), but Gus won't talk about him, or tell me where to go or what to do. I'm completely lost here.

I'm so tired of walking around and around and around this map!

 

Go into the swampy area where the corrupted elves and mushroom guys are. You'll find a door that opens a new instance. The big shroom is in there.

 

Found it! Thanks! There really should be some kind of hint or clue in-game on this. That little door was a true "needle-in-a-haystack" mission.

 

Working on it, now.

 

Killing elves for scalps is crazy. Killed a 100 and nothing. Killed vigilantes, guards, and all kinds of elves.

 

I've found the objective, killed the big mushroom and killed the big bad that came after. I have the quest in my log still and the "Hand of N" in my inventory but I can't find any way to get Gus to acknowledge the quest is complete.

 

try also clearing the area in front of the worship tree

 

Three mushrooms, three corrupted elves, a handful of wisps, and the druid (Naturamans). I've cleared everything from the road to the tree, searched past the tree upwards into the mountain alcove, and west and east around the mountain area. The automaton talked about a Big mushroom but I've not found anything except the infants.

 

Not the tree? I am stumped.

 

You have to kill Naturamans in the mushrooom cave. Killing the big-poppa mushroom in the cave is what spawns Naturamans in if you're on the quest to kill the mushroom. You'll get the Eye of Naturamans off the one in the cave, not the one that spawns in the battle royal at the druid tree.

 

There is no battle royale at the tree (at least not for an archer, whimpy druid.....)
