Crafting Question tier II

    I can now craft tier II Weapons and Armor, however, to craft tier II items with +1 I’ll assume stuff like Straps need to be the tier II components? I was able to craft a +1 Iron Mace, but that doesn’t require straps and such.

    I tried crafting a few Shields, with Iron ingots, but shields need straps, and I couldn’t craft a +1 with just normal leather straps (or I just have to keep trying?).

    when you prepare a recipe for crafting, you'll see in the box on the lower right your chance for success and your chance for an exceptional result. those exceptional results are +1 items. the components used have no bearing upon it, it's just chance.

    Yeah, any item you craft (regardless of materials) has a chance of getting a +1.
