Will do! Thanks for the heads up.
Hey my apologies, I never scrolled down, there's more to see. I like the listing of the Bows & Staves in that every variable is shown what it gives. That is very helpful. In time the Armor & Bladed Weapon sections will get filled out no doubt. I'm just scared to enter that all in the wiki now because each release things change so much when they think of a new & better way to do things
Hmmmm well just thinking, why is this getting updated right now? I thought it was mentioned that as much as possible of crafting recipes would be fixed and put in the game. Do we know what the fixes are exactly? Not trying to make light or devalue the hard work you all are doing, just wondering.
Fixes in my mind are ingredient quantities reflecting the value of the end product. Working through it to figure out how to display it is part of the process. It is a side quest. As far as the spreadsheet things aren't really getting updated unless I think of new ways to do things, there was a change in the wiki to be ready for future data that we believe is coming so I updated the spreadsheet to accept the data in auto updates, Doing that I broke it elsewhere so in working to repair that I discovered the spreadsheet was broken in a different section all along when it went over the 500 entry mark doing updates. So now when recipes are 'fixed', the changes are entered in the wiki & the player needs only to click the update button in the spreadsheet to download the data from the wiki & it might even work.
Thank you for the explaination. I appreciate it very much. I was really just curious. I hope it didn't sound like I was complaining. I was interested. Wow I'm glad it will be easier in the future to update the recipes. I am really excited about seeing new crafting recipes come in to the game.
Item bonus calculation is a Thing! v49
Spreadsheet will now calculate the material bonuses on armor & weapons as defined by Weins201 google sheet. These are customizable if things change, in the Legend tab by merely changing/adding the values there.
Now to start on wiki recipes now that they are more standardized.
Your a machine!
You my friend, are amazing!!
v0050- Many Recipes added to Wiki
This revealed an issue when syncing or resetting where it loaded wiki data in sections (resolved)
Screen updating turned off during updates to increase updating speed(screen may go blank for periods during update)
Material bonus calculation adjusted for R17 using 3 main ingredients
Thanks! It is a labor of love
Oh my, silly me. Forgot to change a for next loop number back to 2 from 325 in testing so half of the recipes didn't get processed for material bonuses, my bad.
get v51 !! Ack
Found your spreadsheet around v49. It's just Awesome! Thank You
That's great, glad people find good use of my hobby. Currently I'm pressing the Devs for clarity on item naming, what exactly determines an item name. When that is achieved the wiki should receive a large increase in recipes.
Always a work in progress.
The amount of time you put into this is fantastic. really glad you took the project over. your doing a lot more and a better job then i would have and continue to blow me away with it all the time. keep up the great work!!!
I agree intuition allows you to feel out recipes but devs could be more forthcoming. I appreciate the time and effort from y'all. Thank you.
My mini guild says to give you a great big Thank You. How can we help? You seem to beat us to the wiki for recipe updates as we only play casually.
Since you asked & anyone that wishes to contribute
Base Recipes, I need screenshots of recipe book so I can verify actual in game proof & less chance of errors.
Base Stats on all armor pieces
Base Stats on all weapons
I'll wiki enter them when the 'Power' naming is finalized so having the recipe & stat info then would be helpful.
Since this is for anyone, if you don't know how to link screenshots here you can send them to me directly
Sounds good. But so far you are way ahead of me recipe wise. Mining is difficult as heck to get enough and purchasing ore/ingots is getting bad too. If we could get large ore amounts on the QA server from the devs it would help. Anyone with that kind of pull, could you please help get that arranged? Basically it would allow us to test each and every recipe and provide a nice tool in the end for the community.
Well really, if someone has the recipe in book, screenshot it & share. Just the main one for all cloth, leather, chain, plate, weapon pieces. The player vendors have items listed for the mouse over stats but need that all cataloged.
