[Crafting] Where can I find a Strap?

I'm looking to make a Cloth Helm, and it asks for an ingredient called Strap. Now, I don't have anything specifically called that. I have a Leather Strap recipe ... but that's it.

I can't finda anything on SOTA crafting sites or wiki about what this Strap is or where I can find a recipe for it.

Any help? Getting frustrated

If what you're crafting calls for a Strap, then any type of strap should suffice... Including the Leather Strap for which you already have a recipe.

 

You will need to make your own... Does the recipe call for a "metal strap" or simply "a strap"... The latter is made from leathers or cloths, depending on which you make, they all add different properties to the item made... check your book to see if you have the recipes already, in Tailoring or Blacksmithing... use different material to make a different strap...

 

Took me hours to figure that out too. Luckily some one came into the same town as I was crafting and helped.

 

Please don't throw your cloth helm in the river after you are done crafting it. We've been having a serious problem with that lately.
