    There is no UI for upgrading a POT in-game. I believe that you have to email support@portalarium.com.

    If you own a town, you can upgrade them from the town tab on your account page on the website.

    I'm not sure how they are planning to add it to the in game store. But, my hope is they have some kind of "town upgrade token". That way, residents could buy them directly, give them to the governor and know for sure they can only be used for upgrades.

    You can't upgrade with COTOs on the website.

    That is correct. As it stands today, no COTO upgrades for towns via the site or in game.

    They really need to get a handle on how they're managing sales.

    I'm not buying stuff anymore because I have no idea if it's going on sale tomorrow and I'm wasting money.

    It's hard to tell: Player Owned Town ($2900) -> City ($4800) = $899
    20%: $4800 * 0.8 - $2900 = $940
    50% from diff = ($4800 - $2900) / 2 = $950

    My mistake. POT upgrades are 20% off, not 50% off.

    @Chris: My POT Residents has been contributing COTOs recently. It would be great I can redeem them for POT Upgrade using sale pricing !

    Greetings all. Here is the way to upgrade your POT with Crowns. Go to your account page and click on the Town tab. Click the upgrade button and note the cost in dollars to upgrade your current town to a larger town. Go to your email program and send an email from the account that owns the account with the POT to support@portalarium.com with the name of the town. If you have the same number of crowns as the amount of money you saw earlier in your account they will take the crowns and update your POT usually by the next patch.

    For Example:
    I have a Crossroads POT and I want to upgrade it to a Town POT. From my account page and towns tab I see that it will cost me $699 to upgrade it to a Town POT. I make sure I have 699 crowns in my bank or inventory and then I email support@portalarium.com from the correct email account (since I have multiple accounts) and I tell them I want to upgrade my town "New Fawn" to a Town size POT. That's it. Next patch it will be upgraded to a Town size and I don't have to buy a token or evict my tenants.
