Crown Store Display Items

    It would be nice if there was an option to use and place an item from the crown store before purchasing it. You would get a useable version of the item so that you could preview it, by placing it on your lot or on your avatar. Only you would be able to see it and upon logging out, the item would disappear.

    If you like the item, and decide you want it, you could right click it and select "finalize purchase" and it would deduct the crowns from your account and stay in the game world.

    This would be great to preview houses, deco items, gear patterns, and even dyes. You would be able to test out deco ideas before actually purchasing the items, which may lead to more sales for the store.

    @Adam Crow, you can buy things on qa to test. you even get lots of free crowns to do it with.

    Your suggestion is okay, but that requires every single player to install QA, and then log in to test that. Some of us do not have the spare bandwidth to download another huge client.

    This wish list item is something I have wanted for quite some time. As a POT owner, 5 times out of 10 the deco you bought will not place, and or you can not get a Valid Place with the item, because of the strict decoration rules. This would solve that issue. Remove a lot of anger from players, because then they can try before the buy.
