Hi there everybody, I'd like to ask some vague infos about damage and weapons

How the damage formulas work for weapons?
    Are there softcaps in stats?
Are there multiple or base tiers for the melee (including bow) weapons?
What's the idea behind dexterity value and bow damage?
How should be handled those "very low/low/average.. etc strength bonuses on the tooltips?

I totally avoid for laziness the bloody bay channel so I'm totally out that tech meltinpot info channel

ANY info coming from test/devs statements is MORE than WECOME

Hrm, I wonder how big a wall of text would answer these questions ;)

personally I dont know, but I think youd have better luck asking in Dev+ or in Discord

Weapon dmg is increased by passive weapon skill, weapon skills levels, and strength. Strength’s effectivness does taper off the higher it gets

Dex increases crit cance and passive dodge chance. Dex also dimishes at some point as it increases, and your crit chance soft caps vetween 30 and 40 somewere

Low abg and high strength is a indicator of how much dmg that weapon gets from strength.
