Darker ambient lighting during thunderstorm

    OK, so I like the lightning and thunderstorm effects, and also the general rain effects.

    But ... thunderstorms should really have darker ambient lighting. Kinda spoils the mood to have dark clouds and a raging thunderstorm, yet the ambient lighting is bright. daylight. Also. how can the comet be visible through clouds?

    There's also the issue of casting a shadow while there are dark clouds overhead. Sure, a shadow from the lightning flash, but the sun should not.

    I'd love a stronger sound effect for the lightning spell too, it's a bit underwhelming as it is...

    While excessive darkness was pretty bad in the game for a while, I could see it being put back in for thunderstorms.
