Great video, Jobe Wow...I have not been in Deep Ravenswood in a couple of releases and did not realize it had become such a popular place for PvP (...and no, I wouldn't last a minute in there against such high level PvP players )

My question is to the developers on this.

Why is it Deep Ravenswood? Why where the shard falls such a failure? Do you really believe it was the 25%.

You had shardfalls open since day one what is the Deep Ravenswood issue.

Now message (not a question, a statemnt to think about) to the developers - this is not being caused by the PvPer hunting each other in Deep Ravenswood. Here is what has happened. Enough Sheep have flagged - drawing in the types of players who prey on the weak and as a result the true Pvp player run in and an now have a few extra targets to play with.

I caution you all to take this as proof of concept that the 25% is working. There is more to it.

Thank you for posting this extremely well done and entertaining video! Usually I can't even follow what is going on in PVP videos, so your commentary was invaluable. You have a great voice, and you come across as being very likeable. I hope you will make more such videos. I'm sure I'll be viewing this one multiple times.

It looks like everyone involved was having a great time. It makes me wish I had the combat ability to join in the fun.

 

Deep Ravenswood is one of the most dense, and quickly spawning farming areas in game, not to mention its location is not far from owls head.

 

This is not Overwatch, you don't just get into an action within a minutes or two. So during the wait time, you gotta find something else to do. These shard falls have obsidian golems which pretty much immune to mages and the flyers, which only spawn scarcely hardly worth anyone time.

When there are more population who get on PvP, perhaps the shard falls will be more appealing?

Have they changed something since I last played ~1 1/2 month ago? It looked like you were casting while running Jobe. Last I played, if you moved while casting it would just interrupt you?

 

Some spells are now castable while moving..

 

I saw CL being cast while moving, dafuq is that? I mean, I play(ed) a mage and that just seems a bit...unbalanced? I get insta-cast stuff, because well, it is instant. But casting something with a channel time on the move seems a bit IMBA.

 

Was a recent change, higher fizzle chance while moving, and of course no stationary bonus..

 

Not all spells work though, EQ for example is stationary only not sure what else, haven't paid much attention, as I'm just getting back into the swing of things myself.

 

Thanks @Cypher Black! Yeah @Fizzlebang you can cast some spells now while moving, fizzle chance is still increased but it's a recent change added in R36.

 

I don't even have one! Probably why I lose all the time.
