Details: when deleting a character with items on a vendor, then creating a character with a different name, you will be unable to clear items off of the vendor with the new character
Steps to Reproduce:
- start with an account that has only one character
- place a vendor
- put items on the vendor
- delete the character that put the items on the vendor
- create a new character with a different name on that same account
- try to remove items from vendor, it doesn't work
- you can't use the "ban player for a moment" trick because, it's the same account doing the banning, you can't ban yourself, even though the name has changed
Workaround:
- give vendor to a player on a different account
- other player places vendor
- other player bans then unbans new name of character (old name can't be banned because it no longer exists)
- items get returned to bank of original player's new character
- give vendor back to original player
Expected behavior:
- any character from the same account should be allowed to reclaim items from a vendor (I'm presuming both name and account are recorded in the vendor information, or the workaround would not work), it's a silly limitation since there is no point in using that to trade items between same-account characters, they can just use the bank
