    Presumably the sun master trainer quest, which drops a feather for the turn-in. Elgarion copied the feather item from that to make the quill, but didn't quite scrub out all the quest data, so the quill currently only drops if that quest is active.

    Also confirmed, multiple feathers may drop. I got one the first time and two the 2nd.

    Just so you know, the fire chicken is a tough fight and you have to kill it twice (it respawns from the ashes because, you know, its a phoenix).

    new obsidian forge recipes for dread artifact patterns. patterns fall from Dolus, Temna, and Nefario. delicate feathers are a required component of the recipe.
