Assuming that is the name of the statue, my guess is a Richard Garriott joke. Perhaps they'll say it is to be pronounced, des-a-CRAH-tay.

So do tombstones, street signs and a number of other things that don't do anything other than have a tool-tip.

clicking the statue will break the small vase in front of it, while your avatar grunts as if it is constipated. Presumably your virtue takes a hit.

As I stated in the "baby crocodile" thread way back when, just because you can do something in game, and in real life, doesn't mean you should. Would I have done this on the live server? No. It's not me. However, this is QA and I wanted to see what the fuss was about.

And I still think Richard Garriott is behind it.

 

OK, so the tool-tip says what will happen when you double click the statue. Seems pretty cheap to me.
