Design Inconsistency: Boat to Elad's Lighthouse

The boats in the Brittany town scenes go directly to Elad's lighthouse from the Brittany ports, but the overland boat is far down the coast from Brittany and is not logical.

The yellow circle in the image below shows where the boat to Elad's is when it should probably match the Brittany town scenes and be located at the Brittany docks where I'm standing:

 

I have noticed this too, and have often windered why we hoof it a ways down to shore to get to the ferry. But then I noticed that the ferry isn't just for Elad's, it is for all of Spindrift Island, so that may explain why the location seems arbitrary or out-of-place.
