When I was on QA last I noticed that it was open but it didn't match up with the 11-11-6 hour interval currently on live.

I remember in R58 QA it was 2 hours off at one point for some reason, but Live stayed at the current 2nd/13th/24th of the month schedule. It's also not mentioned in the R59 spreadsheet, so it's probably not changing. Or maybe, as @jiirc says, it's on a different timer just for QA, to make it easier to test.

FWIW, I like the current schedule, even if it wasn't exactly what was intended when the change was made. It keeps the old schedule, adding two more per game month, and it's easy to tell at a glance of the game calendar when one is coming soon. It also adds some chaos with the 11/11/6 cycle being both regular and not regular.

One of the devs mentioned during the last QA release. It was put on a shorter timer only for QA so that people could go in and do testing.
