    As many of you know, NPCs with quests waves "sparkling" hand when you approach which indicates the NPC has quest to give.

    After quest is given to a player, the quest-giver still waves its hand until the task is done.

    This is somewhat confusing when multiple NPCs are conglomerated in same zone and some of their quests are done and some of them are not.

    NPC's behavior regarding quest should be differentiated in three phases;

    1) Quest ready phase
    - Currently known as "sparkling hand wave", in WoW, "Question mark"
    - Request : More visible 'I have a quest for you' indication is preferable.
    I know many of the players detest the idea of 'WoW like quest mark', but it's quite user friendly, imo.

    2) Quest progress phase
    - In WoW, "Exclamation mark"
    - Request : Some indication that specific NPC's quest is under progress should be shown to player.
    Maybe a shrug emote from NPC would be nice :)

    3) Quest finished phase
    - No indication should be needed
    - Request : Maybe 'thank you' message or cheers from NPC when the player is in vicinity would be nice.

    Thank you for your time.

    I have just recently noticed the blue face on the compass when you have a quest in that area. But it doesnt always work.
