Anyone know? Would be a potentially cool thing to see an enemy mage for example have to start swinging their staff waiting for a regen, or using death magic (tap soul) to regain focus ..

No, they don't have any focus and it is currently by design.

Highvale Village is a great place to see the Elven Mages with never-ending Focus.

All Elven Archers have unlimited ammo as well.

@Mischievous Dragon Gotcha -- thanks! I think it would be a .. fun? change for enemies in PVE to have to follow the focus rules also..if possible.. ?

So far its by design, because the devs are afraid that if mobs have focus, AI would never be good enough and players will find ways to exploit them by running down their focus.

I think it would be a good idea, though, and think there would be ways to work it out.
