Does the Obsidian potion of Guidance stack with the 2 X exp?

    They do different things so there is not stacking to concern yourself with.

    - The 2x XP means that you earn twice as much XP for certain activities, such as quests, killing mobs, etc
    - The Obsidiean potion means that earned XP is applied to skills that are training at a higher rate.

    If your XP pool is big enough they can work very well together, you earn XP faster AND you apply XP faster.

    The potion is great for 1 to 60ish but if you pick to many higher level skills it will drain the pool very quickly. Especially if you aren’t fighting mobs to replenish some of the drain.

    Sometimes that's the point, though. Like with crafting (masterworking or enchanting), you may want to get a pool of say 3.6 Million crafting XP, and then drink the potion of guidance, and GM 2 or so skills without using 50,000 ingots of silver or gold. You want to just get it done!
