Does the Oracle "ding" our karma if we are "responsible" for the death of a Will-O-Wisp ?

To a degree my relationship with the Oracle will be effected by a definitive answer to this question. ;)

I have yet to see a response from her about killing Wisps when speaking to her about the Virtues.

I solve any such dilemma by not talking to her at all. :)

I don't think so. I think it's like killing a rabbit or a squirrel. Also, envy angel uses them, so they can't be that good.

Don't know for sure since we can't test it anymore.

However there seems to be a difference if you attack them while peaceful vs when they are hostile.
I ran a couple of new arrivals through the outskirts scenes and in one there are a bunch of wisps which after a creature spawns will turn hostile towards you.
One of the new arrivals however preempted the spawn by attacking the wisps and turning them hostile. Later that new arrival did have a different response from the oracle than the others in the group.
But again that might have been from something else that person had done.

Hmmm...this is a great question. I would ask Trellek, I'm sure he would know. ;)

I doubt it, but you can check.

    Put on shroud
    Check stats
    Kill a few will-o-wisps
    Check stats again

However if you have stats maxed in either direction (+5/-5 str/dex/int), a change to that virtue won't show.
There seems to be a +/-127 virtue range, but shroud stats are only affected to +/-100.
