Dowse, Ice Shield, Fire Proof, and Fire Attunement

    Fire resistance and Fire Attunement do not reduce Fire Damage from mobs.

    It was difficult to see at first, but now that mage mobs are blasting for 200-300 damage it is clear to see that fire resist is not being accounted for in PvE combat.

    Are you sure ??? When I get 80 fire resistance skill, it seems to me that I began to get less damage from npc mages, or just my level became higher so they are not making crit so often ???
    Also skills from water magic reduce damage from NPC mages, in this i`m sure for 100%.

    Dowse and Ice Shield do NOT reduce fire damage from Elven Mages or Undead Mages...this I am 100% sure of. And I can post a video to prove it if that is what it takes.

    Yeah I have high fire resist, and I use Ice Shield (74) , Fire Proof (56), and Douse (40) and I feel like I still get hit like a truck by fire magic.
    120 fire attunement as well but im not sure if thats working to effect resists.
