Perhaps between now and whenever pvp begins to exist, you could talk about it in greater detail.

Amen to that, it got pretty ugly over at SC for a while. I"m purposely not quoting any of that stuff because the SOTA boards, even at their worst, is my tranquil garden and that kind of poison has no place here. I hope it continues to remain that way even when we breach the 100K+ mark in real backer numbers.

I"d like to request though that the alpha testing period per patch be extended a day or two, like many of the people here weekends are usually reserved for family. There just aren't that many hours free to thoroughly immerse oneself in the next iteration of the game.

I think so too. The weekend release period doesn't always work because more commonly I spend my weekend doing everything and then during the week I tend to wind down after work on the PC.

I was able to get some time in on release 6 and I am exciting to see how things are going. I have been following the progress since kick starter and the progress has been awesome to watch. I love how this game is being developed with an amazing team, keep up the hard work and thank you for what you are trying to bring us fans.

So on the map(goodbye paper mario map.... *sniff*) is going to have creatures and stuff on it at some point? Im wondering what the plan is here... Does this mean if a monster touches you on the map that you are forced into a hex with it so it can slaughter you if it wants?
And theres going to be a 64 bit build.. Im not technologically inclined but im hoping that means there will be better performance and less crashes maybe.

*EDIT*: So there is a hedge maze in owl's head? Is this a new addition to R6 or has it ben there since the beginning. Didnt play R6 so I missed all the R6 stuff. Whats going to happen with the hedge maze? Does it do anything so far or is it just.... a maze?

Yes, that would my thoughts on it as well. You get chased by a dire-wolf pack, and if they catch you, you enter a local scene to engage them in combat.

Chris mentioned that their current memory optimization is rather lax, so they decided for time being, providing a native 64bit version (which allows for greater memory usage) was a reasonable solution.

It was player-made by Riya. :)

That was my interpretation of placing decoration on a lot^^ I will try to make a bigger one in R7 and I try to open it earlier then in R6. I hope to see many of you there.

That was a fun hedge maze, Riya! I do hope they get some real hedges in the game to make it even more fun! I sent this post to Darkstarr some time ago at his request, so I do hope they're still planning on putting this in the game at some point.

If you're still crazy enough to try to do this on the Castle lot, you're going to need a lot of plants. I think the one in Owls Head was close to 300 just on that tiny lot.

The plan for R7 is to build a maze on a city or town plot. So perhaps for R8 or R9 I will try to get the LOTM lot because next to the material it needs also time to place it. For the little village lot it was 3 hours and my hand hurts after it. The maze on the LOTM lot should be my masterpiece which blows you out of your shoes so I have to gather experience before^^ So stay tuned
