    How does one switch from 32 to 64 bit? Is there a whole different download or is it all automatic?

    I received a reply from the devs in regards to the 64-bit thing, and thought I would share here. I hope this helps!

    (My original question) will we be provided a clear option for 64-bit, or will the client automatically recognize a 64b system? I also assume it would be best to uninstall and delete all SotA related files and start from scratch for this release.

    (Response) "No need to uninstall. The patcher should take care of updating appropriately. We are going to default to 32 bit for all systems since this will be the first real test of the 64 bit version. You will be able to choose which version to run at startup and we swap in the correct executables. If we get some good data on the 64 bit version this time around and things look good we'll probably switch R8 to choose the version that matches your OS.

    Will this be a complete wipe including characters? Or will it be better to delete the existing character to see the changes?

    The world will not be persistent by the end of this year. This includes automatic character deletion. No action required I guess :)

    Thanks Sindariya and Sir Cabirus. Just got confused, first played R6. Then got to log-in the bonus E3 week and my house was gone but the character and inventory was still there.

    Pretty sure for R7 you will chose at start-up, then R8 it will see your OS and be auto...

    Hi, guys. I just noticed a checkbox option in the launcher that says, Use Windows 64 Bit Build. It was unchecked by default.

    You can choose the 64 bit option on the launch window..click on the options before you launch the game.

    Implimenting pvp before gear and combat stuff just seems like putting the cart before the horse to me. None of the neccesary thing are ingame that are needed to make implimenting pvp worthwhile.
