Earning too much gold killing monsters

    Great question, my guess is NO. Creatures can hit like a truck with shoddy low level bows I guess and they do, where as we can't lol.

    I don't mind getting a Begging skill on subterfuge tree. Using emotes before using the begging skill to gain the drop rate or something.

    Yea, I noticed the they changed to the Shoddy Short Bow at Ravensmoor. There's also now a gauntlet of skeletal mages and footmen and comparatively little archers.

    I wonder why there's no Shoddy Long Bow....

    I salvage almost everything too. And cash drops don't cover my fuel costs

    Sold a few decent swords, but now the Owls Head public vendor is fked

    Oh well....

    LMFAO! I was extremely excited when I was able to FINALLY find a player who had rugs for sale...20K later and I have two bedrooms with carpet. Nice! :)

    To be honest, I don't completely understand the complaints compared to crafting, because even though I found I could get a good sum of money at Ravensmoor looting the longbows from skeletal archers, I could earn a lot more for my time mining at Owl's Nest, if I put up all of the mined materials on public vendors over a period of time.

    Thank you for today's changes.

    It did not occur to me that rather than killing the elves for 1 weapon every 50 kills, a simpler fix was to not be able to kill them at all (or at least very slowly).

    I think this logic should be applied to all of novia and not just the hidden vale.

    Remind people that reagents and repair kits are a privilege and must be earned.

    I am voluntarily selling my luxurious row lot, unfairly gained through the previous patch, and will be more than happy to help anyone else during their foreclosure.

    Currently I am enjoying a cardboard box just on the outskirts of Owl's Head, but have been eyeing that barrel under the Kingsport docks for quite some time.

    I just hope it is still available when my lot selection window opens.

    This time, a lot of archers and mages and no footmen. :D Is this randomized? Seems more oddly weighted than before.

    Can we at least get the 4 or 5 skull mobs to drop decent selling items? Right now the Risk/Reward of adventuring on the top end of my ability just isn't really there. I'm getting tempted to just head back to lower tier zones and hit up the quantity over quality of loot... since quality is seemingly not much of a thing now.

    Since property taxes were based on an ability to earn gold from loot drops, will those figures be revisited and scaled back considerably?
    There are people who paid $200, $450 or even $1000 for a property they can place because they can't afford the taxes.

    This is pretty much it. The only benefit to 5 skull is xp and a little better gathering nodes. (although it's more fun too)


    Just sucks the loot gains are lower due to slower kills, since everything drops the same loot

    I do hope they fix the loot drops/item value to reflect mob difficulty.
    Currently a basic pansy skeleton with 100 hp drops the same Rusty Sword as the Elite Skeleton of 600+ HP. Same gold too.
    The harmless archers in Soltown Catacombs dropping same shoddy bows as their high level equivalents too.
    While it is possible to make a lot of cash by just mass grinding with a high capacity limit, its boring and repetitive.
    It should be possible to make a bit of money selling the loot you get naturally from killing the things that are your level.
    Currently you're punished for doing higher lvl content because it takes more regs, gear takes more damage, etc. to kill the stuff but cash reward is same.

    Humans (thug, fighter etc) seem to be ok comparatively. Hammers, sabres, halberds have 110-275 base price.

    It's too bad repair kits take large amts of ore, or one could train repair and get max gold from sales.

    I think an alternate repair mechanism for use at tables would be nice. One ingot to do some filling, wood / leather for handles etc. Kits would be for work away from a proper crafting station
